Success! 15th Annual Tennis Tournament Funds Diabetes Education

From August 12th through the 15th, tennis players from around the valley gathered at Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis to compete and raise funds to support the Diabetes Education Program at St. John’s. This year’s event was special, marking the 15th anniversary of the Steve Winograd Memorial Diabetes Tennis Tournament.

Tournament founder and organizer, Eddie Kolsky, shared the story of his friend Steve Winograd and his untimely death due to complications from diabetes. As he spoke, his passion for his friend and this cause was clear to everyone at the tournament and people dug deep to support the cause.

Tournament winners included: 6.0: Maggie Land/Jack Farrar; 7.0: Maria Womack/Karen Van Norman; 8.0: John Lewis/Gabriel Lewis; Parent/Child: Michael Jordan/Mac Jordan; Mixed: David Frakt/Laura Santomauro.
