Success! Women’s Fly Fishing Group Raises Funds for Women’s Health
Updates
Stripping for A Cure is an annual celebration of women, fly fishing and philanthropy. Every year, Stripping for A Cure joins female anglers together for a two-day event to raise funds for cancer charities in the Tetons. The St. John’s Health Foundation Women’s Health Care Fund is one of these groups.
This year’s event, hosted at Teton Springs in Victor, ID, boasted the largest group of women ever to participate. Armed with the finest guides in the Tetons, various pink fishing paraphernalia and custom tied pink flies that score extra points, participants are awarded for the biggest fish, as well as whitefish, spotting eagles and ospreys, with bonuses for falling out of the boat.
And on Thursday, September 15th, they capped off the event with an amazing evening of cocktails, dinner, stories, and philanthropy. The Women’s Health Care Fund is so thankful for the support of Stripping for A Cure!
