Hospital and Living Center Earn National Accolades

Updates

In newly published reports, St. John’s Health and St. John’s Living Center have again been recognized for achieving the highest possible ratings by national organizations that monitor quality, safety, and patient experience.

“We are honored to be the only hospital in Wyoming to receive the coveted five stars from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the only hospital in the state to have achieved an “A” grade from The Leapfrog Group,” said St. John’s CEO Paul Beaupré, MD. “Our providers and staff work diligently to ensure we follow the best practices for patient care that result in these high marks.”

In addition, St. John’s Living Center received five stars from CMS, with five stars in each of the rating’s subcategories, making it the only long-term care center in Wyoming to achieve that distinction. The Leapfrog Group does not rate long-term care facilities.

Fewer than 10% of the more than 4,000 Medicare-certified hospitals and 10% of the 15,000 Medicare/Medicaid-certified nursing homes nationwide earned five stars, CMS’s highest rating.
