“First Baby” of 2019 Welcomed by Medical Center and Auxiliary!

St. John’s Health announces the birth of the First Baby of the New Year, who arrived at 9:18 am on January 2, 2019. Baby Noah Keenan was born to parents Debra and Peter Keenan of Jackson. He weighed 9 pounds, 10 ounces, and he joins his sister, four-year-old Sally. He was delivered by obstetrician Dr. Shannon Roberts, and his pediatrician is Dr. Karin Klee. Debra and Noah were cared for by nurses Ellen Marsh, RN; Debbie Bedford, RN; and Katie Baxter; RN.

The hospital Auxiliary recognized the birth by coordinating a warm welcome on behalf of thirty community businesses and individuals. The Auxiliary presented the family with gift baskets of toys, baby care items, and numerous gift certificates to be enjoyed by the proud parents at local shops and restaurants.

“First Baby” coordinator for the Auxiliary, Janet Wood, RN, extended the Auxiliary’s appreciation for the business community’s support of the First Baby program.
