Canceled-St. John’s Auxiliary’s 29th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

29th Annual St. John’s Auxiliary Golf Tournament is canceled

The SJH Auxiliary has made the difficult decision to cancel the St. John’s Auxiliary’s 2020 Golf Tournament.

Cancelling one of our largest and most community-engaged fundraisers will have a financial and social impact on the Auxiliary, however, to protect the health and safety of our Auxiliary members, staff and community we have made the decision not to hold our annual golf tournament this year. We know that many of you look forward each year to joining us for the event.  We are looking forward to planning a fabulous event for Summer 2021!

We are extremely grateful for the extraordinary outpouring of support that SJH and its healthcare workers have benefited from during this COVID-19 pandemic and we greatly appreciate everything so many of you have done already to help us through these times.

The Auxiliary is still working towards their $250,000 pledge to St. John’s to purchase a new nuclear medicine/CT scanner – integrated technology of both nuclear medicine and CT imaging performed on one system. This scanner will be used to image the heart and look for cancer in various organs, and also provide needed additional CT capacity for the brachytherapy at St. John’s Health. In addition, it can be used for orthopedic, soft tissue, and spine scans.  This pledge demonstrates the Auxiliary’s ongoing commitment to providing the best care available close to home.

We hope that you and your loved ones enjoy a safe and healthy summer.
