For 17 years, Tennis Pro Eddie Kolsky has hosted the Steve Winograd Memorial Diabetes Tennis Tournament at Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club. Eddie is dedicated to raising money for people with diabetes because his lifelong friend, Steve Winograd, died from this difficult disease. The Tennis Tournament is always a fun weekend of tennis, camaraderie, and support for people with diabetes.
The tournament provides essential support for community members who are living with diabetes. Funds raised through the tennis tournament, celebratory awards dinner, and auction provide diabetes education and medical care for youth and adults. In addition, the fund offers financial assistance to local families to send their children to Camp Hodia and other regional camps for kids with Type 1 diabetes. These overnight camps offer kids the opportunity to share common experiences, meet others with diabetes, and form meaningful friendships.
Tournament registration is $100 per person and $50 to play in a second category.
