Laura grew up in Evanston, Illinois, outside of Chicago. She earned her BA in Communication & Culture and Criminal Justice from Indiana University. After graduating in 2003, she headed west to Jackson Hole for the summer. Falling in love with the area, Laura stayed on for the winter working as a ski instructor at JHMR, where she was employed for the next three winter and summer seasons. Next was a brief stint in real estate sales at the Snake River Sporting Club before accepting a position at the Community Safety Network in 2006. She worked there for eight years and continues to serve as an active volunteer advocate. Laura transitioned from direct client service work at CSN, to St. John’s Health and her current role in Administration with St. John’s Physician Services. She, her husband Tom, and their three year old son, Bill, live in East Jackson.
