Sue is a seasoned executive with over thirty years of experience in the medical device and automotive industries. She holds a BSME from Kettering University and an MBA from University of Michigan. Before retiring to Jackson, she was CEO of two medical device start-ups and served on the boards of several companies in the Twin Cities area. She also served as an adjunct professor and Board of Governors member at the University of St. Thomas School of Engineering in St. Paul, MN, where she helped create a new medical device concentration in the graduate engineering program and lectured on innovation and entrepreneurship. Sue began her career with General Motors, where she held a number of engineering, quality control, and management positions. Sue is a past president of the St. John’s Health Auxiliary. She also volunteers with the Friends of Pathways, and enjoys spending time skiing, biking, fishing, and hiking. She and her husband Kevin have lived in Wilson full time since 2007.
