Tina Damalas

Tina Damalas

Tina Damalas is a global health professional who first moved to Jackson in 2010 before earning her Masters in Public Health from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans. She has worked throughout Africa and Asia as a manager at the Clinton Health Access Initiative, a global health organization committed to strengthening integrated health systems and expanding care and treatment in the developing world, with operations in 36 countries and 1,500+ employees worldwide. Recently, she has served as a communications and public health consultant for various healthcare-oriented non-profit organizations, working on topics from ALS to cancer to malaria and HIV/AIDS. Tina returned to Jackson in 2014 and works remotely with frequent travel.
