“Best Nursing Home” again bestowed on St. John’s Living Center by US News

Updates

For the second year in a row, US News and World Report has designated St. John’s Living Center as a “Best Nursing Home.” St. John’s Living Center received this designation in both categories, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care, an accomplishment achieved by only 3% of the over 15,000 nursing homes in the country.

“We have a synergy that pushes us to redefine what life in a nursing home looks and feels like. This recent award is a testament that we are headed in the right direction,” said Malenda Hoelscher, executive director of senior living at St. John’s Living Center and 40-year veteran of the health care field.

“The Living Center has a rare culture that is a result of a team that goes beyond our nurses and aides to include our partners in housekeeping, pharmacy, dining, maintenance, therapy, and, of course, our residents and families. With the ongoing regulatory changes, the work this team does is truly remarkable in assuring that our residents are loved and cared for in an environment that is engaging and resident-centered.”
