About Us

Our History

Founded in 1999 by long-time Jackson community members Addie Donnan, James Eden, David Stokes, John Valiante, Shirley Cheramy, and Gloria Newton to increase awareness and financial support for St. John’s Health, the Foundation focuses on educating the public and cultivating private philanthropy in support of St. John’s Health.

We help SJH meet the unique challenges of serving—with excellence and proficiency—a full-time regional population of more than 40,000 that grows to an estimated 100,000 during peak tourist periods.

Today, we continue to fund staff education, community health and wellness programs, innovation and technology, capital facilities and equipment—while looking for creative and meaningful ways to support advances in clinical excellence at St. John’s Health.

St. John’s Health (SJHF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization headquartered in Jackson, Wyoming.  Our Tax-Id number is 83-0325788.
